Sean Cooper
Sean Cooper is the Director of WestGA GLRS at Chattahoochee-Flint RESA. He specializes in providing professional learning, technical assistance, and coaching for seventeen school districts and two GNETS programs. He has been with GLRS for the past eight years. Before joining GLRS, he served as a Special Education classroom teacher, Instructional Technologist, Video Broadcasting Teacher, Behavior Specialist, PBIS Coordinator, and Special Education Administrator. Mr. Cooper serves as Legislative Chair on the Executive Board of the Georgia Council of Administrators of Special Education. He also serves on the Georgia Department of Education's State Advisory Panel. Recently, he was awarded the Dr. Jimmy Stokes Distinguished Service Award by the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders. Mr. Cooper is a Georgia Southwestern State University, Asbury Theological Seminary, and Valdosta State University graduate. Mr. Cooper is thankful for the opportunity to work alongside such outstanding Special Education Directors, Administrators, School Psychologists, and Teachers throughout Georgia.
